Founded in 1985, by Adrian Olabuenaga and Lesley Bailey his wife, ACME Studio has created an amazing co-op of artists, architects and designers including Peter Shire, a member of the famous Memphis group, Andrea Branzi, Aldo Cibic, Michele De Lucchi, Ettore Sottsass, Matteo Thun, etc. Together they have created an amazing collection of fine writing tools that are the perfect combination of form and function. ACME Writing Tools, equipped with roller ball components, use German manufactured Schmidt ink refills. (Fine point, non-drying). All standard ACME Writing Tools come available as Roller Ball pens. The Acme pen has become a treasure for collectors all over the world. When a design edition is closed, ACME pens have been known to instatnly double in value, so this is a pen you'll want to hang on to!
